Our Story
KIBOVSKI was born in London, of a simple conviction: that clothing can stand outside of time. That what is made slowly, and with care, need not belong to a season — but may instead belong to a life.
At the heart of the house lies an idea: time, and the women who have shaped it. We look to those who created, imagined, endured, and changed the world — and to those whose stories time too often left in the shadows. To dress such women is our purpose.
Our emblem is not a clock, but a time machine.
Within its face there are no numbers, only centuries. The five figures that surround it embody Beauty, Style, Creativity, Family, and Science — the qualities that live, quietly, in every woman.
Through cloth, KIBOVSKI speaks of femininity and intellect, of beauty and strength: the qualities that live, quietly, in every woman.
The nobility of a single cloth
We have chosen to begin with one material, and to know it completely: pure cotton corduroy. It is, by nature, a humble cloth. Yet within its fine ridges lies a quiet nobility — depth, softness, and a strength that does not announce itself.
Through KIBOVSKI, we return this cloth to its most refined form, and show how beautiful, how enduring, an honest material can be.
The dignity of the hand
Every KIBOVSKI piece is cut, sewn, and finished by hand, in small numbers, by makers in Great Britain. We believe in work done slowly and done well — in the patience of the hand, and in the quiet dignity of things made by human beings rather than machines.
Nothing is hurried. Nothing is made in excess. What we make, we make to last.
What we believe
Through cloth, KIBOVSKI speaks of femininity and intellect, of beauty and strength. We do not follow time — we honour it.
